Beograde Olimp
A symbol of brutalism in architecture
The Geneks Tower is considered the most impressive representative of Belgrade Brutalism, an architectural style defined by massive concrete buildings. The tower was designed by architect Mihajlo Mitrović, a great master and full professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Construction was completed in 1980, and the end result is two towers, commercial and residential, connected by a structure in the form of a bridge on the 26th floor. The tower is significant because of the construction technique, applied for the first time in our region — it is completely cast in concrete, without metal structures.
Apartments in Genex Tower do not have classic terraces, they have French balconies with an unforgettable view of the city. Parking is public but easily accessible.

Belgrade Waterfront

Belgrade Waterfront
New city's symbol
Tucked away next to the Sava River, Belgrade on the Water is a monumental urban revitalization project worth $3 billion, creating a new city core and a new international destination.
Belgrade on the Water, also known as Belgrade Waterfront, is an urban regeneration project led by the Government of the Republic of Serbia aimed at improving the cityscape and economy of Belgrade by revitalizing Savamala, a neglected piece of land on the right bank of the Sava, between the Belgrade Fair and Branko Bridge. Started in 2014. with the reconstruction of the Belgrade cooperative building, which was completed in June of the same year. It is the second largest mixed-use complex under construction in Europe, after the $3.5 billion Minsk Mir project. 10,000 apartments, a bilingual state elementary school and kindergartens, luxury hotels, including “St. Ridžis”, the largest shopping center in Southeast Europe, a gallery, and public buildings are planned for this area. In total, about 1.8 million square meters will be built.
The project was launched in 2014 but it is financed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Eagle Hills, a leading company for private investments and investment developments from Abu Dhabi focused on the creation of new city centers in the high-growth international market. About 3.5 billion dollars will be invested by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and their partners from the UAE. The project consists of office and luxury residential buildings, Belgrade Park, Sava Promenade, five-star hotels and the Galerija Belgrade shopping center. The central point of the project is the Belgrade Tower, a new landmark of the city. With 168 m, it was designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
