Belgrade on the Water, also known as Belgrade Waterfront, is an urban regeneration project led by the Government of the Republic of Serbia aimed at improving the cityscape and economy of Belgrade by revitalizing Savamala, a neglected piece of land on the right bank of the Sava, between the Belgrade Fair and Branko Bridge. Started in 2014. with the reconstruction of the Belgrade cooperative building, which was completed in June of the same year. It is the second largest mixed-use complex under construction in Europe, after the $3.5 billion Minsk Mir project.
